Bio
Hey Everyone,
I'm Prachi Agrawal, an undergraduate student at the University of Delhi who enjoys being part of things that create impact and bring people together.
I like taking responsibility and working behind the scenes to make ideas turn into reality.
As the Production Head, I handle planning, coordination and on-ground execution to make sure everything runs smoothly during events.
Being part of such experiences has helped me become more confident, organized, and calm under pressure. I’m curious, eager to learn and always open to new opportunities that allow me to grow while contributing meaningfully to a team and a larger purpose.
An idea worth spreading
My idea worth spreading is that college is not just about building a career, earning money, or preparing for the future, it is also about building yourself.
Career and success are important but they are only a part of life not life itself. During college, we often get so busy chasing goals that we forget to spend time understanding who we are.
One way I choose to invest time in myself is by going on solo trips. Traveling alone gives me space - space to think, reflect, and truly connect with myself without any distractions. It helps me grow, become more confident, and see life from a wider perspective.
Exploring different places makes you realize that your problems are smaller than you think and that the world is far more beautiful, diverse, and full of possibilities than the routine we live in every day.
Investing time in yourself through experiences like travel can shape you into a stronger, more aware, and happier person.
The TED story
When I found out that my college has a TEDx branch, I was genuinely excited and knew I wanted to be a part of it.
I applied to TEDxSVC in my first year,l and honestly, my interview didn’t go very well, so I wasn’t expecting much. But surprisingly, I got selected and that moment itself taught me to believe in chances and growth.
In my first year I worked as a curation member, where I developed strong communication skills and got the opportunity to meet and learn from some amazing people.
In my second year, I decided to challenge myself further and applied for both Curation Head and Production Head and I was selected as the Production Head.
Today, I truly enjoy working behind the stage handling last-minute chaos, coordinating everything quietly, and making sure the stage comes together beautifully and looks completely Instagram-worthy.
Honestly, TEDxSVC has given me so much: confidence I didn’t know I had, inspiring people, powerful ideas, and experiences that have shaped the way I think, work, and grow.
Things you might not know
One thing people don’t really know about me is that I’m good at being alone. I genuinely enjoy my own company and use that time to think, reflect, and understand myself better. Those quiet moments help me grow emotionally, become more self-aware, and build independence, which has shaped the way I handle life and responsibilities.
