I'm passionate about

Claudia is deeply passionate about making nutrition accessible and realistic for everyday people. She believes that healthy eating shouldn’t feel like a burden or a complicated set of rules but it should naturally fit into the rhythm of real life. Her work is driven by the understanding that people don’t simply need more nutrition facts; they need support that aligns with their lifestyles, circumstances, and daily challenges. Central to her mission is bridging the gap between nutrition science and human behavior. Claudia recognizes that even the best information fails when it doesn't consider how people actually think, live, and make decisions. This perspective pushed her to explore user experience design, where she saw the power of empathy-driven solutions. Through UX/UI, she envisions digital tools that make nutrition guidance intuitive, supportive, and user-friendly tools that meet people where they are rather than expecting them to change overnight. Equity in wellness is also at the heart of her work. Claudia is committed to promoting culturally relevant and inclusive approaches to food education, ensuring that all communities feel seen, respected, and empowered. She understands that wellness is not one-size-fits-all, and meaningful guidance must reflect the diversity of people’s identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

An idea worth spreading

In a world overwhelmed with information, most people don’t struggle with knowing what’s healthy. They struggle with making healthy choices fit into real, busy lives. I believe nutrition advice must be redesigned through the lens of human behaviour, cultural relevance, and digital accessibility. By combining food and nutrition expertise with UX/UI design principles, I advocate for intuitive, inclusive tools that meet people where they are. My idea challenges us to rethink nutrition not as rules, but as supportive experiences shaped around everyday habits, equity, and empathy, empowering individuals to succeed, not struggle, in their wellness journey.

The TED story

When I began studying Food Science, I quickly realized something surprising: people don’t struggle with food because they lack knowledge but they struggle because they lack support. I saw individuals blaming themselves for overeating, emotional snacking, or inconsistent habits, yet the problem wasn’t willpower. It was design. This insight deepened when I encountered the TED Talk “The Art of Mindful Eating.” The idea that eating is not just physical but deeply emotional and behavioral resonated with her lived experiences and the communities she served. People eat when they’re stressed, tired, disconnected, or overwhelmed but not because they don’t know what broccoli is.
