Hi, I’m Dev Raj Singh, the Operations and Events Head for TEDxHBTU. I’m currently in my 3rd year of Electronics Engineering at HBTU Kanpur, and over the past 2.5 years, I’ve been actively involved in organizing and managing several events on campus. I love the energy of building something from the ground up, coordinating people, and seeing everything come together on the final day. Last year, I completed my internship at BHEL, which gave me a solid look into how large-scale engineering systems work. I’ve also won two hackathons at my university, which pushed me to think creatively and solve problems under pressure. Academically, I’ve always been committed—I secured 1st rank in Agra in PCM (CISCE Board) with 96.5% in Class 12, and scored 92.5% in Class 10. One of the projects I’m proud of is developing the official NSS HBTU website, which also played a role in meeting the prerequisites for hosting TEDx at our college. Being part of TEDxHBTU is special to me because it brings together ideas, teamwork, and impact—all things I care about. I’m excited to help create an event that truly inspires people.
