My Biography
I am a seasoned leader and Chief Innovation Officer with a rich history spanning the entertainment, technology, and healthcare sectors.
I graduated from Waseda University’s School of Commerce in 1996. I dedicated my first 20 years to the entertainment industry, working for a software distributor and a game content maker. During this time, I gained broad experience across the entire business lifecycle, covering roles in business planning, management, production, public relations, sales, manufacturing, and distribution.
I transitioned to the technology sector in 2018. At Jolly Good Co., Ltd., a VR development tech venture, I spent five and a half years as an Executive Officer and Head of the Medical Business Division, pioneering VR education solutions for the healthcare industry. In 2021, I achieved a landmark success by leading the planning for a significant initiative under AMED’s "Medical R&D Innovation Fund Project (CiCLE)." This involved securing the first VR-related funding and coordinating a large-scale project with a 10-billion-yen subsidy, four academic societies, and 25 hospitals.
In May 2024, I joined Iris Inc. as Head of the Business Development Department, overseeing the launch of a new AI service through a joint project with Asahi Breweries, leveraging medical and AI data assets. I concurrently founded "project -H" in June 2024, a private company providing consulting and business development support for medical x digital technology.
I officially joined Holoeyes Inc. in February 2025. I was appointed Head of the Business Promotion Headquarters, managing domestic medical device sales, corporate enterprise projects, and three international business operations. I was subsequently appointed Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) in May 2025, which is my current role.
