I was born in Leon, Guanajuato, México the 14th of October, 1995. My family moved to Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, when I was very young and I have lived here all my life.

I'm passionate about my country. Throughout the years I have fallen in love with every aspect of it; the people, the places, the music, the food among others. My main drive in life is the idea of inspiring a true change in my country and making it the incredible, joint community I know it can be.

I think people should try to make other people smile more. The pure effort counts. If people made more effort to make people they don't know smile the world would be a very different place, even if it is just a smile a day.

The first time I saw a TED talk I was 14 years old. I saw Dr. Sylvia Earle's TED talk "My wish: Protect our oceans" and it completely changed my life. It created a purpose in me and got me involved in sustainability and the protection of Earth's ecosystems. Many years later, in 2014, I got the opportunity to help organize a TEDx event in my community and I have been a part of this incredible movement ever since.

People don't know I'm good at managing uncomfortable social situations and interacting with all kinds of people.
