Born in Boulder, CO in 1979; moved to the island of Kauai at age 18 with nothing more than a one way ticket, $400 cash, a tent, a saxophone, and a bunch of ambition (alone, I might add); lived there for almost 2 years. From there have lived back in Boulder, in Santa Cruz CA, Olympia WA, and currently reside in Seattle WA in the home that my lovely (and pregnant) wife and I reside. My first job was at age 11, completely on my own accord, because even at that age I understood the value of work and a paycheck. I've always dreamed of owning my own business of some sort, and only in the past few years did that realization become to come to fruition. I've never been fired from a job nor kicked out of any housing situation. I love the water, and was certified to scuba dive at age 12, and have dove Belize, Fiji, Tahiti, Hawaii, and the Puget Sound (brrrrr, but pretty); I'd love to dive Greece's coast. I also love to travel, and take the opportunity to do so any time it comes up (sometimes at great sacrifice, but it's always worth it). One of my favorite trips was a 3 week trip my wife and I took a few years ago when we traveled the country of Guatemala, and ended it with some beach/snorkel/dive time on Caye Caulker, Belize.
