Bio
After graduating as a journalist fluent in both English and Spanish, I found my passion for storytelling early on. My career began at CBS, where I had the wonderful opportunity to learn the fundamentals of marketing and PR. Later, I spent a decade in cybersecurity, focusing on marketing and business development. I managed marketing for one of the industry’s key segments and had the privilege of training cybersecurity sales teams across Europe, the US, Japan, and China. It was during this time that I discovered a deeper calling—to create more meaningful impact. I decided to take a brave new step, leaving corporate life to start a journey of my own.
Venturing into entrepreneurship, I founded a designer handbag authentication company that has since earned the trust of over 10,000 customers in 87 countries and became part of a leading Dutch Startup program.
I'm grateful for the opportunities to speak and host at international conferences like Localization World and xSP Summit, sharing insights and learning from incredible people. My blogs have welcomed over 10 million visitors from around the globe, which continues to inspire me.
In 2023, I realized a long-held dream by founding Exectrain—a company dedicated to helping aspiring and current leaders communicate with greater impact. My mission is to empower others to become trusted, persuasive communicators, all while staying true to what matters most.
I'm passionate about
Helping people to find their voice, spread their ideas and connect easily with other people even if that's not innate. I write and talk about how to be persuasive without compromising what matters.

The TED story
As many, I learned about TED via the videos. As public speaking was something I always knew I loved, I was immediately hooked. I had no idea on how TED is organized or how to connect with any people close to this community.
When I moved to The Netherlands, I was lucky enough to see a local TEDxTheHague event posted and I just knew that this is it. Since then, I am a TEDx organizer, a TEDx host and hopefully someday a speaker.
