Bio
Onalerona Seane is an activist, poet, copywriter, and founder of Onamatterpeer (Pty) Ltd. Drawing on experience in digital marketing, copywriting, and storytelling for social impact, he became the first contributor from the Global South to Global Citizen’s Emerging Creatives Program. Among his accomplishments is a nomination at the inaugural National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA), hosted by the Republic of South Africa's Department of Sport, Arts and Culture. Additionally, he has performed for the United Nations World Food Programme on multiple occasions and is a 2025 Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumnus of the U.S. State Department’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
