Tamana Gupta

Student

I’m Tamana Gupta, a 12th-grade student at Amity School Dubai with a deep interest in science, research, and public speaking. Passionate about exploring new ideas and perspectives, I enjoy taking part in initiatives that encourage creativity and dialogue. Beyond academics, I actively contribute to school events, leadership roles, and collaborative projects, where I aim to bring people together and spark meaningful conversations. Being part of TEDx gives me the opportunity to share, learn, and connect with others who believe in the power of ideas to inspire change.

I’m passionate about science, leadership, and creating spaces where young voices and fresh ideas can spark meaningful change and inspire growth.

The human brain is not just an organ, it’s the seat of identity, creativity, and resilience. My idea worth spreading is how understanding the brain can help us unlock human potential and build a more compassionate future.

For me, TED has always been about the power of ideas, how one story, one perspective, or one spark can shift the way we see the world. I’ve grown up inspired by people who use their voice to make others think differently, and I’ve always wanted to be part of that space. TEDx gives me the chance not just to listen, but to contribute, to share, to learn, and to connect with people who believe that even small ideas can create big change.

People don’t know I’m good at staying calm under pressure and finding solutions when things get chaotic.
