Bio
I am a driven and enthusiastic high school student with a strong passion for both science and the arts. Currently thriving in Grade 12. My dedication lies in exploring the innovative connections between technology and creativity.
Leadership and community engagement are central to my background. As Student Focus Group Leader at GEMS Our Own English High School, Dubai, I spearheaded initiatives promoting cultural understanding and student involvement. I also serve as the Head of the Future and Sustainability Council at Amity School, Dubai, where I lead projects focused on sustainable practices, environmental awareness, and innovative solutions for a greener future. Additionally, I contribute as a Well-Being Ambassador, advocating for mental health and emotional resilience among peers, and as an Eco-Leader, encouraging responsible environmental actions within the school community.
Participating as a delegate in MUN conferences enhanced my public speaking and diplomatic abilities. I successfully balance a wide array of interests and have garnered several prestigious accolades, such as the Guinness World Record, URF World Record, and Amity Scholar Award. My achievements extend to literary and environmental competitions, where I consistently meet deadlines, whether working independently or as part of a team. My aim is to utilize my diverse skill set to make significant contributions in the realms of science, technology, sustainability, and education.
I'm passionate about
I’m passionate about exploring the connections between science, technology, and creativity, seeing them as tools to solve real-world problems. For me, leadership and community engagement are not just responsibilities, but opportunities to create spaces where young people can grow, collaborate, and contribute. I enjoy using public speaking, storytelling, and debate to share ideas and spark conversations that encourage new perspectives. Guided by well-being, sustainability, and small acts of positive change, I believe that when young people are given the space to reflect, create, and lead, they can make a meaningful impact.
An idea worth spreading
You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. Even the smallest actions—like encouraging a friend, starting a new initiative, or speaking up—can spark change in ways you might never imagine. Real impact often begins in these everyday moments, the small choices we make when no one is watching. Each step creates a ripple, inspiring others and gradually building momentum for bigger change. It all starts with taking that first step and trusting that your actions, however small, can truly make a difference.
The TED story
Being selected as the Curator for TEDx Amity School Dubai Youth is an opportunity I’m truly grateful for, especially as it marks my very first TEDx experience. I’ve always believed in the power of ideas to challenge perspectives and open new doors. Through my own journey in leadership and community work, I’ve learned how meaningful it is to create spaces where young voices are heard and valued. For me, TEDx is not just about sharing ideas on a stage — it’s about building connections, encouraging reflection, and shaping an environment where even the smallest spark can inspire lasting change.
Things you might not know
People don’t always know that I’m good at connecting ideas and spotting solutions others might miss. I enjoy bringing people together, helping teams work smoothly, and supporting others, even behind the scenes. Outside academics and leadership, I spend time on music, dance, art, and playing instruments, which keeps me creative and focused.
