Bio

Toni Dolce Bove is an Emmy Award–winning producer, internationally recognized vocalist, and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience across media and performance. She is the CEO and Founder of Purple Critter Media, a New York City production and strategy agency. She leads projects from concept through execution with a focus on clear storytelling and real impact. Before building her company, Toni performed as a professional singer with major orchestras and appeared on national platforms including Live from Lincoln Center and at Carnegie Hall. She has also appeared on The X Factor, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and The Newlywed Show. She is married to Andrew Bove, and their life together is grounded in creativity and a desire to design an unconventional existence. Toni is a graduate and Alumni Ambassador of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and an active member of ProVisors NYC Chapter 12. Now in her 24th year in New York City, she continues her love/hate relationship with the city and travels as much as possible! Hit me up! I love to meet new people!

I'm passionate about

• Helping people move beyond self-imposed limits • Music and singing as a source of grounding and expression • Creating meaningful, shared experiences (especially with homemade food, drinks, family, friends) • Authenticity and personal truth • Taking action as the path to growth

An idea worth spreading

We spend so much time producing, achieving, and showing up for others, but when you step into the roles of producer, director, and actor of your own life with intention, everything begins to change.

The TED story

I’m here because Terry Moore, a three-time TED speaker, encouraged me to explore this path. That invitation prompted me to reflect on the experiences I’ve had on stage, behind the camera, and in business, and to recognize that they’ve shaped a perspective worth sharing.

Things you might not know

People don’t know I’m especially good at creating order from chaos. I can walk into a complicated project, a crowded room, or an overwhelming situation and quickly see what needs to happen. I’m also good at showing up for people. I listen closely, ask direct questions, and help them see a larger version of themselves.
