Too often, we split "teaching" and "parenting" into separate roles—one for the classroom, one for home. But as an IB teacher and mom, I’ve discovered they’re mirrors: the same skills that make a great IB educator—curiosity, reflection, and empathy—are the secret to raising kids who thrive beyond grades. My idea? Stop treating them as distinct; instead, merge IB’s "learner profile" into daily family life, turning ordinary moments into tiny, powerful lessons.
