I am an interdisciplinary humanities graduate with a strong interest in people, systems, and strategy. At TEDxMAHE, I serve as the Head of Human Resources, where I lead recruitment, onboarding, and training, while fostering a collaborative and growth-driven team culture. In this role, I focus on creating an environment where every team member feels supported and empowered to contribute meaningfully, helping us collectively bring impactful ideas to life on the TEDx stage. My experiences in HR and team operations, both in academic spaces and international organizations, have shaped my adaptability, leadership, and ability to connect people with purpose. Alongside my academic journey, I completed a Pre-MBA summer certification at IIM Udaipur, which expanded my perspective on business, management, and strategic thinking. I am passionate about human-centered work and believe that strong teams are the foundation of meaningful innovation and growth.

I am passionate about many things, and I embrace that curiosity as part of who I am. I love theology, but I am equally fascinated by understanding the financial health of a company, even if I haven’t explored it in depth. I love traveling and discovering new worlds, but I also cherish the quiet joy of being curled up with my books. In the last months of my college journey, I immersed myself in archives researching a peasant rebellion in colonial Malabar. At the same time, I have explored popular culture and human behavior, trying to understand how stories, symbols, and systems shape the way we live. It’s safe to say I aspire to be a jack of all trades, and though I may not be mastering one just yet, I am deeply passionate about everything that moves my mind and body. For me, learning isn’t about narrowing down, it’s about expanding, connecting, and growing through every experience.

Art is one of humanity’s oldest languages. Long before we discovered fire or invented technology, we were already painting on cave walls, using art to express how we lived, what we believed, and who we worshipped. To look at art is to look at history itself , a mirror of societies, their struggles, and their aspirations. Yet today, the way we engage with art often swings between extremes: either stripping it of politics altogether, or forcing politics onto it. I believe we should approach art differently , not as a medium of aggression or division, but as a tool for comprehension. By understanding the roots of artistic expression, we can better see how the branches , the forms, styles, and meanings, evolved into what they are today. Looking at the history of art across time and cultures reminds us that art is more than decoration; it is a way of knowing, of understanding, and of connecting with the human experience. When we see it this way, art becomes less about argument and more about insight, a medium that helps us make sense of our shared past, and in turn, our present.

My TEDx journey began as a Managing Committee member in the HR department at TEDxMAHE. The following year, I stepped into the role of Co-Head of HR, an experience that proved to be transformative in ways I hadn’t anticipated. But even before that I have grown up watching Ted Talks! What started as a student leadership role soon became one of the most insightful chapters of my life. From recruitment and onboarding to planning, coordination, and execution, I learned what it takes to build and nurture a team working toward a single vision. The people I met, the connections I built, and the challenges we overcame together shaped not just the event, but also my outlook on leadership and collaboration. I still remember the mix of emotions after the event was over , the exhilaration of having pulled it off, followed by the quiet emptiness of knowing it was done. That bittersweet feeling was proof of how deeply TEDx had become a part of me. This journey influenced me to shift my career path from a humanities background to management. TEDx showed me the joy of creating impact through people, processes, and ideas, and it continues to inspire me to carry those lessons forward into everything I do.

Something most people don’t know about me , except my close friends , is that I have a knack for curation and finding things at the best possible value. Half my room and closet are filled with pieces I’ve thrifted or picked up from street markets. While many are initially apprehensive about thrifted finds, I’ve found them to be not only long-lasting but also cost-efficient and environmentally friendly. For me, it’s not just about saving money, it’s about giving objects a new life and curating a space that reflects creativity, sustainability, and character.
