Even as a young researcher, he has transformed bold ideas into impactful projects that bridge healthcare, sustainability, policy intelligence, and community development — proving that innovation is not about age or titles, but about clarity of purpose and relentless execution. From the earliest days of his academic journey, Anamay approached AI with both technical rigor and a deep sense of responsibility. He immersed himself in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing not just to build high-performing models, but to ensure those models could solve real-world problems. His work on Automated Risk Assessment of Contaminants in Pharmaceuticals is a prime example — a system that uses advanced ML algorithms to classify risk levels in medicines and generate USFDA-compliant reports in real time. By integrating large language models for dynamic, human-readable outputs and keeping a human-in-the-loop for validation, he created a tool that is both efficient and trustworthy, with the potential to reshape pharmaceutical quality control. Sustainability became another powerful thread in his journey. With SmartReuse, Anamay addressed one of the construction industry’s most overlooked issues — the waste generated by demolition. The platform uses AI to recommend whether materials should be reused, repurposed, or recycled, complete with calculated CO₂ savings for each choice. Achieving an impressive 98.6% classification accuracy, SmartReuse doesn’t just optimize waste management; it educates users on the environmental impact of their decisions, bringing sustainability from the boardroom to the building site. His presentation of this work at the International Conference on Business and Technology (ICBTCardiff 2025) demonstrated his ability to bridge technical expertise with a compelling narrative that resonates across sectors. Building on this foundation, he developed the AI-Driven Demolition Waste Intelligence System (DWIS) — a leap forward in real-time sustainability decision-making. By combining computer vision with predictive analytics, DWIS can scan materials on-site and instantly recommend redistribution strategies, enabling circular economy practices to happen in the moment, not just in post-project reports. His Predicting Green Rating System (GRS) Adoption project further reflects his forward-thinking approach, using survey-based data to forecast the likelihood of sustainable building certification adoption. Designed as an interactive web app, it provides both industry stakeholders and policymakers with insights that can drive greener construction practices. But for Anamay, innovation has always been inseparable from community impact. As Public Outreach Lead for the International Space Drone Competition, he has conducted STEM workshops for school students, breaking down complex aerospace and robotics concepts into experiences that inspire curiosity and confidence.
