Bio

Monique Rodriguez is a visionary entrepreneur, educator, and community leader whose work lives at the intersection of artistry, business, and belonging. For more than twenty-five years, she has led Caledonia Dance & Music Center, shaping a culture where young people grow in confidence, creativity, and connection. What began as a small local studio has become a thriving creative home for hundreds of students guided by Monique’s signature blend of warmth, excellence, and structure. Armed with a degree in Business Finance and a passion for systems that empower people, Monique has built two successful ventures including Rossana’s Table, an Italian-inspired restaurant created in honor of her beloved Nonna, whose legacy of generosity and love continues to influence every aspect of Monique’s work. Rossana’s Table became a living tribute to family, tradition, and the belief that food, like art, brings people together in meaningful ways. Across every chapter of her journey, Monique’s mission has remained constant: to create spaces where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow whether that’s on stage, at the table, or within themselves.

I'm passionate about

Raising confident kids Leadership for youth

An idea worth spreading

As both a dancer and entrepreneur, I’ve learned that structure doesn’t restrict creativity, it reveals it. When we design systems that support people instead of control them, creativity can move freely within that framework. Structure is not the enemy of art. It’s the rhythm that makes it possible.

Things you might not know

People may not realize that I have a unique ability to translate vision into action. I can see the full picture of what something could become, whether it’s a business, a program, or a person’s potential, and then design the systems, structure, and encouragement that bring it to life. My lifetime practice of ballet influences how I lead today with intention, balance, and grace.
