I am an educator, writer, and learning designer dedicated to helping schools and students thrive. Over the past decade, I’ve taught philosophy, social studies, and English at the junior high, high school, and university levels, and now I serve as a Social Studies Teacher at an international school in Taiwan. My work centers on building strong school cultures, advancing literacy, and empowering teachers through collaboration. As a former Fulbright Fellow with a PhD in Philosophy, and as a textbook author and editor, I bring both scholarship and practical experience to my passion: fostering curiosity, belonging, and reflective growth in students and educators.

In the classroom, I’ve seen firsthand how a teacher’s approach can shape a student’s sense of curiosity, confidence, and belonging. Some of the most talented teachers I’ve worked with struggled under rigid, compliance-driven evaluation systems, which often stifled creativity and risk-taking. But when classrooms become spaces where students feel heard and teachers feel empowered, learning transforms: students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and the entire school culture benefits. This is why I am passionate about creating classrooms where curiosity, belonging, and reflective growth guide every interaction, turning education from a top-down system into a collaborative journey of learning.
