About Sneha

I am a…

Student, Technologist, Writer/Editor

Bio

I’m Sneha, a technologist, writer, and student from IGDTUW, Delhi. I've been a part of various student-led initiatives and volunteering activities throughout my college life, with the mission of bringing a positive change to the people around me, and my work always begins with one question: "How can I make someone’s life better?" At TEDxIGDTU, I hope to amplify the collective voices of change makers around me.

I'm passionate about

serving my community through the realms of technology

An idea worth spreading

"Technology is not a club; it’s an open room." Since a very long time, technology has been seen as an exclusive space for programmers, mathematicians, and engineers. But some of the most transformative breakthroughs have come from unexpected voices - artists becoming UX designers, teachers turning into ed-tech founders, homemakers launching online ventures behind their four-walled homes with just a smartphone and a DIY-tripod. The idea which I feel worth spreading is: we must redefine technology from India to the world, making it inclusive, ethical, and deeply human.

The TED story

My TED story began when I watched Aisha Chaudhary’s TEDx talk, “Thoughts that breathe… and words that burn.” She was just a teenager, yet her words carried a depth that moved me profoundly. Living with a rare illness, she spoke not about limitations, but about hope, courage, and the beauty of embracing life fully. What struck me most was how she chose to share her story with honesty, grace, and strength, leaving behind not just memories, but inspiration that continues to inspire millions across the world.
