I'm Amelia Santo, also known as “Nella” a creative leader operating at the intersection of culture, fashion, and empowerment. As the Founder and Creative Director of CPLP Fashion Week, I’m committed to elevating Lusophone voices and pushing the boundaries of representation in the international fashion scene. With over 7 years of experience in Visual Merchandising and 6 years in event production, I bring a multidisciplinary background that includes business development, hospitality, and luxury goods. I’ve led teams, styled runway shows, and collaborated with brands, always combining strategic thinking with cultural authenticity. I’m proficient in English, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, and Creole, and I view communication as a tool for building bridges across communities and creating meaningful, cross-cultural connections. As a mentor, creative director, and event producer, my mission is to celebrate identity, redefine diasporic fashion narratives, and inspire through creativity, empathy, and cultural pride.
