About Kirsten
Bio
I am a social psychologist, researcher, and trial consultant with a PhD in Psychological Science from UC Irvine. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of translating complex behavioral science into actionable insights, leading NSF-funded research projects, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and mentoring dozens of students while exploring how legal system involvement shapes individuals and communities.
As a trial consultant, I bring rigorous psychological principles to high-stakes litigation, conducting targeted research and developing strategic reports that help law firms make thoughtful, data-driven decisions. My work spans jury selection, mock trial research preparation, and case strategy development. I’m also the writer of “Emotions are Allies,” a Substack where I explore how our emotional lives can guide us toward greater authenticity and self-understanding.
Whether I’m collaborating with research teams, advising legal clients, or creating spaces for friends and community to connect meaningfully, I’m driven by a belief that the best outcomes emerge when empathy meets analytical rigor—when diverse perspectives are valued and everyone feels empowered to contribute their unique expertise toward solutions that matter.
I'm passionate about
Creating spaces where people can connect deeply with themselves and others.
An idea worth spreading
