Bio
Hi, I’m Nandini Bhinde, Co-Lead of TEDxFLAMEUniversity’26 and an MBA candidate specializing in Human Resources at FLAME University.
TEDx, to me, is more than an event. It’s a platform where bold ideas turn into meaningful action, where stories spark curiosity, and where voices have the power to inspire change. I’ve always believed in the impact of meaningful conversations, and co-leading this year’s edition is both an honor and a challenge I’m excited to take on.
My journey with TEDx began as Chief of Sponsorship. I led partnership efforts with brands like Chitale Bandhu and Campus Times, while collaborating across legal, logistics, finance, and marketing teams. That role taught me what it means to build something from the ground up, align diverse teams, and manage high-effort execution without losing focus on the bigger picture.
Outside TEDx, I’ve explored different corners of the HR world. At IIM Ahmedabad, I worked as a Research Associate, contributing to the 17th edition of a key HRM textbook and helping design leadership development programs for companies across telecom, FMCG, and infrastructure. I’ve also worked on labor market research with the WageIndicator Foundation and gained international exposure to HR practices during a global immersion program in South Korea, visiting organizations like Kia Motors and Smilegate.
Across all of this, one thing has stayed consistent—I love building initiatives that matter and creating synergy in teams to bring big ideas to life.
Alongside my academic and professional experiences, I’ve also explored storytelling through roles like content editor at Pocket FM and as a performer in mono-acts. I believe stories have a way of reaching people in ways data can’t, and TEDx is the perfect space for that connection to happen.
As Co-Lead of TEDxFLAMEUniversity’26, I hope to build a stage where powerful ideas are heard, diversity is celebrated, and innovation takes the lead. I’m excited to help create an experience that is thoughtful, bold, and truly unforgettable.
I'm passionate about
Helping people realize their true potential has always been close to my heart. I find purpose in encouraging others to see more in themselves than they currently believe. I’m especially passionate about supporting women—because their struggles often feel personal to me. Whether it's through mentorship, conversations, or simply showing up for someone, I’m driven by the idea of creating space for growth, confidence, and self-discovery.
An idea worth spreading
I believe in lifting people up—because I know what it feels like to be lost in the crowd. There was a time when I had no real dreams of my own. I was simply moving through life, shaped by the limitations around me. But then, I met people who saw something in me before I saw it in myself. Their guidance and belief helped me dream bigger, and that changed everything.
My idea worth spreading is this: there is always more waiting for us beyond what we’ve been told to believe. We owe it to ourselves to explore the world, meet people who challenge us, and step into the spaces that help us discover our true purpose. Growth begins the moment we allow ourselves to imagine a life beyond what feels familiar.

The TED story
From being a TED talk enthusiast to becoming an organizer, TED has felt like a constant in my life. I still remember how I would watch talk after talk, completely amazed. I used to wonder—how can someone think like this? How do these powerful ideas even exist, and how did I not know about them before?
Very quickly, watching TED became more than a habit. It became a way of learning, of expanding my mind through fresh ideas, passionate speakers, and voices from around the world. This year, I’m not just watching—I’m building. As I plan the TEDxFLAMEUniversity event with deep passion and purpose, I know I’ll still be that person in the audience, scribbling down every insight. But this time, I’ll be doing it with a badge, a responsibility, and a heart that’s fully invested in bringing that same wonder to others.
And I don’t hide my dream—one day, I want to be on that stage, holding the mic and sharing my own idea worth spreading. Until then, I’ll keep showing up, working hard, and jotting down notes for the TED story I hope to tell someday.
Things you might not know
Solving things. I genuinely enjoy untangling situations, no matter how complex or challenging they seem. When things get messy or uncertain, I don’t panic—I lean in. I have a knack for staying calm, breaking things down, and finding a way forward. There’s always a way, and I’m someone who will keep looking until I find it.
