Bio

As an MBA candidate at IIM Sirmaur and coordinator for TEDxIIMSirmaur, I am deeply invested in the intersection of business, technology, and human-centered progress. With a professional background that balances strategic thinking with a passion for societal change, I believe that true empowerment arises from the fusion of creativity and innovation. I am driven by the idea that technology, when used ethically and creatively, has the power to transform lives and communities. My work focuses on amplifying voices, igniting transformative ideas, and fostering spaces where progress is rooted in both human experience and technological advancement. Through TEDx, I am excited to bring together thinkers, creators, and changemakers who are committed to empowering humanity and shaping a future where progress is inclusive and meaningful.

I'm passionate about

I’m passionate about exploring the unseen intersections—where human stories meet innovation, where creativity fuels progress, and where technology becomes a tool for empowerment. As an MBA student, I value structure, strategy, and systems. But what drives me most is when these tools serve people—helping communities rise, voices be heard, and possibilities expand. TEDx gives me the chance to create a space where data meets emotion, and where the next big idea may come from a lived experience, not just a lab. I want to help build a platform where creativity and compassion move together—towards a more inclusive future.

An idea worth spreading

"The future is not built by algorithms alone—it’s powered by empathy, imagination, and the courage to create." In a world rapidly transformed by AI, innovation, and digital tools, we risk forgetting that progress isn’t just about speed or scale. It’s also about soul. Real transformation happens when we combine human insight with innovation—when technology amplifies empathy, and when creativity is seen as essential to problem-solving. At TEDxIIMSirmaur, we want to explore how humanity and innovation can walk hand in hand—building not just smarter systems, but a more conscious, connected world.

The TED story

During the COVID-19 lockdown, like many others, I found myself reflecting on how I could make the most of this time. I wasn’t actively searching for anything specific, but I had this underlying desire to learn, gain new insights, and find purpose. One day, while browsing YouTube, I came across a TEDx video. It wasn’t something I had been looking for, but the moment I clicked on it, I felt like I had stumbled upon something that resonated with my thoughts. The ideas, the stories, and the global reach of TEDx spoke to me in a way I hadn’t anticipated. It wasn’t just about gaining knowledge; it was about exploring perspectives that were diverse, thought-provoking, and transformative. When I joined IIM Sirmaur and learned that the institute had its own TEDx platform, it felt like fate. I knew I had to be part of it. Joining the TEDxIIMSirmaur team was my way of contributing to the same movement that had sparked my curiosity and broadened my thinking during the lockdown. Now, I have the opportunity to help curate and share ideas that can inspire others in the same way TEDx inspired me.

Things you might not know

People don’t know I’m good at sensing stories beneath the surface—especially those shaped by change, struggle, and quiet innovation. Whether it’s a rural entrepreneur leveraging mobile tech or a student reimagining sustainability through design, I find energy in lives that mirror the world’s transformation. My strength lies in connecting dots others miss—between technology and empathy, systems and stories. At TEDxIIMSirmaur, I want to spotlight people who are quietly shaping the future with creativity, resilience, and purpose.
