Bio

My name is Mansi Beriwala, I’m 18 and currently living in Pitampura, Delhi. I believe life is a journey of learning, growing, and connecting—and I try to live each day with that mindset. I completed my schooling at Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura, and am now pursuing a Bachelor of Management Studies at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi. Alongside, I’m preparing for the Chartered Accountancy exams—a path that challenges and fulfills me by blending logic, structure, and real-world impact. Curiosity and responsibility have always guided me. I’m an active member of my college’s finance society, where I engage in discussions, plan events, and work with like-minded peers. I also contribute to two NGOs—experiences that keep me grounded and emphasize the power of empathy, awareness, and service. I see myself as both a learner and a doer. I enjoy sharpening my skills in Canva, PowerPoint, communication, and teamwork. I’m often the one organizing, managing, and bringing people together, but I also listen deeply and value meaningful connections. What truly drives me are creativity, human bonds, and self-growth. I love spaces where ideas and emotions meet—be it through projects, conversations, or even cooking, which for me is a blend of expression and care. Music, movies, and small joys also keep me energized and inspired. My biggest motivators are my family and friends—their unwavering belief in me keeps me grounded and determined. Their support makes me feel like I can take on anything, and that’s a feeling I carry with pride. People often call me a “people’s person”—kind-hearted, sincere, and always ready to support others. I lead with compassion because that’s what feels most natural to me. I believe in making others feel seen and valued. One quote that resonates deeply with me is: “So, I guess the only thing that actually stays the same is that things are always changing.” It reminds me to embrace uncertainty and transformation as essential to growth. Right now, I’m focused on doing my best academically and in my extracurriculars, while preparing seriously for the CA exams. I believe in showing up fully—whether it’s for my studies, NGOs, societies, or family. Balance is key, and I strive to maintain it through mindfulness and commitment. In the long run, I aim to secure a meaningful job and eventually start my own firm. I want a life that blends peace, challenge, fun, and purpose—one I can look back on without regrets. TEDx, to me, is more than a platform—it reflects what I stand for: ideas, community, and storytelling. I want to be part of spaces that uplift, inspire, and create impact. I may be young, but I bring purpose, warmth, and dedication—and I’m ready to grow through this journey with courage and curiosity.

I'm passionate about

I'm passionate about creating meaningful connections, leading with compassion, and growing both personally and professionally. Whether it’s through finance, social work, or creative expression, I love being part of spaces where people come together, share ideas, and support one another. I’m driven by a desire to make an impact—by helping others, learning constantly, and building a life filled with purpose, kindness, and growth.

An idea worth spreading

“Softness is strength.” In a world that often celebrates hustle, speed, and dominance, we forget the quiet power of kindness, empathy, and emotional intelligence. I believe that being a people's person—leading with love, listening with intent, and showing up with care—is not a weakness but a strength. Whether you're managing a team, supporting a cause, or building a dream, human connection is at the heart of real impact. It's time we redefined strength—not as control, but as compassion.

The TED story

will mark a significant chapter of learning and personal growth.

Things you might not know

People don't know I'm good at making others feel heard and valued. I may come across as quiet at first, but I have a natural ability to understand people, bring calm to chaos, and create safe spaces where others can be themselves. Whether it’s comforting a friend, managing a team, or handling a tough situation backstage, I’m good at staying composed and leading with empathy—even when no one’s watching.
