Head of IT | TEDxMayoorSchoolAjmer Angad Singh is a passionate and purpose-driven individual leading the IT and curation efforts at TEDxMayoorSchoolAjmer. With a deep belief in the transformative power of ideas, he works to create meaningful platforms where voices are heard and stories are shared. Currently a high school student, Angad blends creativity, leadership, and technical expertise to deliver impactful digital experiences. As Head of IT, he is responsible for designing the visual identity, managing digital platforms, and ensuring smooth technological operations for TEDx events. As a curator, he collaborates closely with speakers and the team to shape narratives that resonate with the theme and mission of TED. Outside of TEDx, Angad is deeply involved in video editing, graphic and website design, and 3D animation. He is also a freelance creative, always exploring new ways to communicate complex ideas through engaging visuals and storytelling. His passion lies at the intersection of innovation and expression—driven by curiosity and a constant desire to learn and grow. Through TEDx, Angad hopes to not only spotlight compelling ideas but also inspire others to think boldly, act compassionately, and create change. “We don’t need magic to change the world. I'm Passionate About exploring the intersection of technology, design, and innovation. With a strong foundation in IT, graphic design, and digital systems, I enjoy working on projects that require precision, creativity, and problem-solving. My interests lie in developing digital solutions that enhance user experience and bring structure to ideas through visual clarity. From managing IT infrastructure for large-scale events to crafting impactful branding and design strategies, I take pride in ensuring that every detail is executed with efficiency and intent. I am also deeply interested in education, mental health awareness, and the role of technology in creating more inclusive, accessible platforms for growth and understanding. I believe that technology, when combined with purpose, has the power to address real challenges in society. Continuous learning, attention to detail, and a mindset geared toward innovation are the driving forces behind everything I pursue.

“Designing awareness for a more empathetic world.” In a world overflowing with information, what we often lack is awareness—the kind that’s rooted in empathy, reflection, and understanding. My idea worth spreading is simple, yet powerful: What if we designed awareness as intentionally as we design technology or art? What if our creative expressions—be it through film, design, storytelling, or digital media—were engineered not just to impress, but to ignite consciousness? As a student and a storyteller, I’ve seen how a single visual, a subtle narrative shift, or a well-timed reel can spark a question in someone’s mind—questions that challenge stigma, inspire action, or simply make someone feel seen. Whether it’s around childhood development, emotional well-being, or societal judgment, my belief is that awareness is the most underrated tool for change. We talk a lot about innovation. But innovation that doesn’t consider the emotional and psychological well-being of people isn’t progress—it’s noise. Through every frame I edit, every script I write, and every idea I help bring to a stage, I try to design with purpose. My mission is to build creative ecosystems—be it TEDx platforms, short films, or digital campaigns—that don’t just entertain or inform, but invite people to feel, reflect, and connect. Because awareness doesn’t require grand speeches or giant movements. It begins quietly—in design, in curiosity, in the way we tell stories. And once it's sparked, it spreads.

When I was first approached by our Licensee and Organizer to join the TEDxMayoorSchoolAjmer team, I had little understanding of the full scope of the event. It seemed like a great opportunity to lend my skills in IT, design, and management—but at that time, I didn’t truly grasp the power and significance behind the TED platform. It felt like any other event: a chance to showcase my technical abilities and contribute to something I believed would be exciting. As the journey began, I was involved in everything from managing digital infrastructure and designing event visuals to ensuring the smooth technical operation of our TEDx program. Little by little, I found myself becoming more and more invested—not just in the logistics of the event, but in its mission. I started to understand that TED wasn’t merely a stage for talks; it was a global movement that connected people, ideas, and the potential for transformative change. It’s a place where ideas are not just shared—they are nurtured, challenged, and amplified with the intention of making the world a better place. Through the preparation stages, the long planning hours, and the dynamic collaboration with the team, I saw firsthand how TEDx brings together diverse voices—from students, to thought leaders, to changemakers—all with one goal: to make an impact. I began to realize that the event was not just about delivering polished speeches or engaging talks. It was about creating a space where innovation, curiosity, and bold ideas can take root and grow. By the time we got closer to the event’s culmination, I found myself deeply aligned with TED's vision: to inspire, to connect, and to ignite meaningful conversations that challenge perceptions and spark action. My role within TEDx became far more than just a technical one. I was part of something larger than I could have imagined—a global community, united by the drive to share ideas that truly matter. I began to see that the true impact of TEDx is not just in the event itself, but in the ripple effect that spreads through the ideas that leave the stage and touch the world. Now that the event is nearing its conclusion, I look back and realize how much this experience has shaped me. I understand now what TED truly stands for. It’s about purpose-driven innovation. It’s about making space for voices that may have been overlooked. It’s about creating connections that can lead to real-world impact. Being a part of TEDxMayoorSchoolAjmer has not only honed my technical skills but also shifted my perspective on what it means to be part of something bigger than myself. TED has shown me that the power of ideas lies not just in their creation, but in their ability to inspire action, challenge norms, and empower change. This experience has changed how I approach both my work and my life. It’s taught me that the impact of an idea isn’t measured by its size, but by the difference it makes in the world.

While most people see the visible aspects of my work—designs, digital platforms, and tech operations—what often goes unnoticed is the range of skills I bring quietly but effectively to the table. People don’t know I’m good at handling high-pressure situations with calm precision. Whether it’s solving technical glitches minutes before an event, managing back-end systems without disruption, or coordinating cross-functional teams to keep everything running smoothly, I naturally step into roles that require clarity, control, and quick thinking. I have a strong instinct for problem-solving and process design—not just creatively, but structurally. I’m skilled at spotting inefficiencies and implementing workflows that make teams more productive and outcomes more refined. I can identify what’s missing, what needs alignment, and how to make digital or operational systems work better, even when no one’s asking. People are also surprised to learn how detail-oriented I am, especially when it comes to visual consistency, brand aesthetics, and user experience. I’m often the one catching minor issues others overlook—like a mismatched font, a mistimed animation, or a misaligned layout. My attention to subtlety isn’t always visible, but it’s what helps elevate the overall quality of any project I’m involved in. Another area that goes unnoticed is my ability to learn tools and adapt quickly. Whether it’s mastering a new design platform, diving into backend systems, or understanding event tech setups, I enjoy exploring unfamiliar ground and making it functional within a short time. And perhaps most importantly, I’m good at staying composed when things don’t go as planned. I bring a mindset that values solutions over stress, which allows me to support my team silently yet strongly—filling the gaps without seeking the spotlight.
