I graduated with a BA in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). My career has spanned from insurance and 401(k) administration to being the business manager for a school district. For the last twenty years, I have been the Director of Finance at the performing arts center on the UNI campus. My volunteer work has usually focused on youth, either at school, church or with the foster care program. I am the proud parent of two adult daughters.

Moving forward, not backward, when it comes to democracy, civil rights and equality.
