Scott Christensen

Educator/Teacher

I bring nearly 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, instructional coach, and specialist in grades K-12 in public schools and charter schools from Washington State, Florida, North Dakota, and Utah. I've taught taught English/Language Arts in grades 7-11, including Creative Writing and Journalism, and am currently a Secondary English Language Arts, AI, and ML Specialist in Canyons School District. Prior to my career in education, I worked as a screenwriter in Los Angeles where I would often be asked to guest teach screenwriting at a local high school. It was in these classrooms that I discovered my passion in supporting students to tell their own stories, a passion that continues through today in working daily to empower students so they can say something back to the world.
