I'm passionate about
I’m passionate about changing the way people think about leadership — showing that you don’t have to sacrifice happiness, balance, or authenticity to succeed. Boldness and joy aren’t just personal traits — they are the future of effective leadership. I’ve seen firsthand how embracing joy and leading with authenticity creates stronger teams, better results, and more sustainable success.
That’s why this message matters so much to me. I’m not just speaking from expertise — I’m speaking from passion and lived experience. I’ve been in the trenches of high-stakes leadership, faced the pressure to perform at all costs, and discovered that the real key to success isn’t just strategy — it’s leading from a place of joy, connection, and courage. That’s the message I’m driven to share.
An idea worth spreading
For too long, leadership has been framed as a game of strategy, performance, and grit — where success is measured by outcomes and the pressure to deliver often comes at the expense of personal fulfillment and human connection. But what if the most powerful leadership advantage isn’t just competence or strategy — it’s joy? In this talk, I’ll challenge the outdated notion that happiness is a soft skill or a ‘perk.’ Boldness and joy are not opposing forces — they are the twin engines of transformational leadership. Boldness fuels action, innovation, and courage, while joy creates the emotional energy and resilience that make sustainable success possible. The most effective leaders aren’t just tough — they’re energized, human, and deeply connected to their teams.
Shifting from stress-based leadership to joy-based leadership transformed my own career and the leaders I’ve coached. When leaders embrace joy, they unlock not only higher performance but also greater trust, creativity, and loyalty within their teams. Happiness becomes the foundation for bold action — and when you lead from that place, you elevate not just your business outcomes but also the human experience. This isn’t about toxic positivity — it’s about reclaiming joy as a strategic advantage. Bold leadership starts with the courage to lead happy — and the future of work belongs to those who are brave enough to lead from that place.

The TED story
My TED story is still being written. I’m in the middle of it right now — building something meaningful, figuring it out as I go, and learning to trust myself along the way. I don’t have all the answers yet, but that’s exactly the point. The journey of leading boldly and joyfully isn’t about having it all figured out — it’s about being brave enough to keep going, even when the path isn’t clear. And maybe that’s the story worth telling — that you don’t have to have it all figured out to lead with impact and authenticity.
Things you might not know
Something people might not know about me is that I’m really good at reading people and sensing what they need — even when they don’t say it outright. In coaching sessions or leadership conversations, I can pick up on the energy in the room, the unspoken tension, or the hesitation beneath someone’s words. It’s almost like I can feel when someone is holding back or unsure, and I know how to guide them toward clarity without pushing too hard. It’s not just about listening — it’s about understanding what’s not being said and helping people feel seen and supported.
