I'm lead a creative marketing team for Business & Community Services at the University of Northern Iowa. That means I am a content writer, social media strategist, web and graphic designer, and public relations specialist—among other duties as assigned, of course! The bulk of my day-to-day involves engaging with Iowa's family-owned businesses, managing marketing needs and operations in my building, and creating pieces for our state and federal relations work. On the side, I'm the co-host of @_shesaidpodcast, where we uplift women in media, women-made media and all related subjects with weekly episodes. I've become obsessed with sewing and upcycling textiles into clothing and accessories. When I'm not in front of the sewing machine, you can find me reading (all genres), on a walk with my spouse and our dog (German Shepherd), gaming (Disney Dreamlight Valley), or taking classes toward a graduate degree (MBA).
