Bio

I am a Biosystems Engineering graduate with a specialization in Food and Bioprocessing from Sri Lanka Technology Campus, currently pursuing an MSc in Food Science and Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. My academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to research and innovation, with a focus on sustainable food systems and bioprocessing technologies. During my undergraduate studies, I undertook diverse projects, including developing a Smart Rapid Organic Waste Decomposer, investigating bioethanol production from banana peels, and studying the impact of storage duration on the quality of biscuit dough. My work has been recognized through conference presentations and publications, including contributions to international conferences on food research. Currently, I am the Research Assistant at the Innovation, Invention, and Venture Creation Council (IIVCC) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where I engage in project management, event organization, and technical documentation as well as Innovation Grant Management. My role allows me to collaborate across disciplines and contribute to fostering an innovative research environment.
