Bio
Jackie Rotman leads with multiple lenses at the intersections of philanthropy, consciousness, women’s health rights, and activism. She is the Network Catalyst for the Transformational Philanthropy Network (TPN), an initiative housed within Fundación Humanitas that convenes philanthropists and social change leaders who are passionate about advancing our understanding of consciousness. Many of TPN’s members fund scientific research focused on intuition.
Jackie is passionate about helping both adults and children expand and nurture their innate intuitive capabilities. She leads international courses on intuition.
Jackie serves as Founder & President of the Center for Intimacy Justice (CIJ). Through CIJ, Jackie has led multiple investigations - published in The New York Times, Washington Post, and over 130 media outlets - illuminating how women’s health nonprofits and businesses face systemic censorship on tech platforms, because women’s health content is disproportionately misclassified as inappropriate. Jackie’s 2022 investigation into Meta was cited in a US Senate hearing and multiple letters by Senate committees (to Meta and the Federal Trade Commission), led to 3 former US Presidential candidates speaking out, and led to multiple governments launching investigations into Meta. It was followed by Meta changing two written global advertising policies within months. Jackie has partnered with funders including Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s foundation, Omidyar Network, and numerous others.
Jackie speaks professionally across 5 continents on the intersections of tech, gender, sexuality, and human rights. She has advised state Attorney General offices, US Congressional offices, Fortune 100 companies, European Parliament members, and leaders at tech companies. Most recently, she spoke after President Obama–about AI and human rights–at a convening of human rights leaders.
Jackie holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and BA in Public Policy with University Distinction from Stanford. Her writing or investigations have been featured in The New York Times several times – including through an investigative op-ed she wrote at age 27 that was the Opinion section’s display piece in print and made the “NY Times Most Popular” list.
Jackie founded her first nonprofit at age 14 (formerly called Everybody Dance Now! – now “Creative Netwerk”), which continues today and offers over 130 free dance classes per week to underserved youth – to cultivate self-esteem and community. At age 18, Jackie leveraged a speaking opportunity and international feature on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew to expand the organization’s impact and reach nationally.
Jackie writes and performs spoken word and solo shows, including about the nature of time, reality, and precognition. She wants her writing to support more nurturing environments for intuition and wellbeing.
Jackie is an Obama USA Leader, Hopelab Public Voices Fellow, and former Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership. She lives in the Bay Area of California and is a very avid meditator.
