The TED story
I'm a Broadcasting Teacher and Independent Filmmaker. I went to college for video game design. During Covid, I struggled to find internships and job opportunities. I transitioned to the film industry after a professor got me an internship at a film equipment supplier. I was able to work on multiple film and media sets. I began to feel like my work life was lacking, so I began looking for other careers. Through connections I made in the film industry, I started teaching a college film production class. This experience led me to pursue teaching as I felt I had found my calling, bringing the enjoyment of film to others.
