Sal Companieh

Born in Iran during the revolution, my dad made likely the most difficult decision of this life and moved us to the US. Forty something years later this duality of existence defines me deeply. I prioritize my family over anything and have a deep sense of accountability for my parents. I am the proud mother of two amazing young men Kourosh and Kian both named after kings of the Persian Empire and doing their best to live up to their namesakes. My husband and I strive to create an environment where our kids connect with their Iranian culture through language, music, food and family. The Persian "host" in me shows up in every way. From ensuring diverse voices are heard to anchoring on a work hard but play harder culture and authentically showing up as my whole self every single day. I have a passion for learning of peoples stories as I find the path we all travel truly fascinating. I serve as the Chief Digital and Information Officer at Cushman and Wakefield where we are aiming to be the advisor of choice across the built world. Grounded on market differentiating insights and a unique way of working that puts our client's needs at the heart of every decision. I'm passionate about the opportunity of transforming an industry historically not known for their digital forward innovation.
