A Journey of Inspiration with My Students As an English teacher at my school, I learn something new every day alongside my talented and passionate students. However, I first heard about TED from my students. It took me some time to understand the true power of this platform, but as my students kept talking about it, I realized that TED is much more than just a place for sharing knowledge; it's a platform with the power to inspire and transform lives. Two months ago, I had the opportunity to serve as a mentor teacher for TEDx Kötekli Youth, an event organized by one of my students who had obtained the TEDx license. I was deeply moved by the essence of the event. Being part of the preparation process and listening to the life stories of the inspiring speakers was an incredible experience. Their stories not only motivated me but also became a great source of inspiration for my students. Organizing the first TEDx event in Menteşe with my students was an unforgettable moment for me. This process was not only a valuable learning experience for my students but also for me. Working together on the event, seeing their excitement and passion, helped me grow as a teacher. Through this event, we didn’t just inspire my students; we showed them the power of creating change. The TEDx event did more than just teach a language; it provided students with new perspectives on life. It taught them the importance of finding their voice, seeing the world from different angles, and following their passions. This experience reminded me that teaching is much more than just teaching a language. It’s about inspiring students, encouraging them to explore the world, and helping them bring their passions to life. Meeting TEDx and being part of the event opened new perspectives for me while offering my students a broader vision. This experience will remain one of the most valuable memories of my teaching journey.

I believe I am really good at helping people discover their potential. Building strong connections with my students and helping them not only learn the language but also gain confidence brings me great satisfaction. I am also passionate about exploring new ideas and applying them in my teaching methods. Being open to constant self-improvement, trying out new teaching techniques, and striving to provide my students with the most effective learning experience has become a natural approach for me. My ability to communicate effectively with people, along with my high social intelligence, allows me to understand others better and form deeper connections. I can easily adapt to different social environments, which helps me build trust and rapport quickly. I enjoy being in the spotlight and have a natural ability to plan and execute events flawlessly. Organizing an event and ensuring everything runs smoothly gives me great joy and allows me to showcase my leadership skills. This is one of my strengths, both professionally and personally.
