Bio
I have a Masters degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, a PGCSE from the University of Nottingham, and am a Teach First Ambassador. With over 11 years of science teaching experience in a wide variety of schools, including state and private sector UK schools, international schools and bilingual (Chinese & English) schools in Shanghai, I am a committed and passionate educator and educational leader. Before teaching, I worked for the United Nations Environment Program - World Conservation Monitoring Center as an intern and Business, Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services Associate Program Officer.

The TED story
I am passionate about increasing student voice and agency and giving young people opportunities for service learning and leadership. TEDx Youth Events run by our students are one of many great ways to do this, so I'm here to support them and make their voices heard.
