Hello, I’m Melike Torun. I am a second-year Law student at Yaşar University and also studying International Relations at Anadolu University. While developing myself in the fields of law and international relations, I strengthen my leadership skills by taking active roles in student organizations. Currently, I serve as the Director of Presidency at ELSA İzmir. Additionally, I am the Vice President of the Career Community at Yaşar University, where I help organize career days and networking events to support the professional growth of university students. I enjoy being active in social environments and value good communication and relationships with others. Meeting new people, collaborating, and engaging in dynamic projects consistently inspire me. İngilizce Çeviri: Among the projects I lead are initiatives to bring TEDx to Yaşar University and plans to organize a TEDx event at my university. Additionally, I am developing my academic writing skills by participating in an essay competition on “The Current State of Mediation in Turkey in 2025.” I enjoy interdisciplinary work, team management, and event planning. In the future, I aim to specialize in the field of law and play an active role on both national and international platforms.

I love playing the violin and draw inspiration from the power of music. At the same time, I am passionate about being active academically, taking on leadership roles in various organizations, and contributing to new projects. These passions drive me to constantly learn, grow, and make a positive impact. Expressing myself in both artistic and academic fields, interacting with different people, and creating social change motivate me every day.
