A champion of women and those traditionally marginalized. Innate storyteller, community builder and systems thinker. Mom to Aria. Daughter to Yaneth. Luisa is a fractional Chief Design Officer with organizations from startups, to Fortune 500 companies to community led organizations. She is currently working with the Constellation Collective to uplift and put solutions driven by women and indigenous communities at the center at COP 16 and COP 30. Previously, Luisa headed Design and Partnerships at Neol - a venture backed startup connecting senior creative talent to organizations. Tim Brown is their Chief evangelist. Prior to this Luisa was the Executive Design Director at the world renown design firm IDEO where she co-led OpenIDEO and the Climate portfolio. Luisa has the unique capacity to walk into a room and help turn difficult conversations into an actionable blueprint while making it playful. She has worked with governments (UK), philanthropies ( Gates, Rockefeller) and corporations ( Nike, Athleta). Her training is in interaction design and filmmaking and throughout her leadership positions managing teams and leading startups she has gained ample experience connecting people to purpose. Luisa obtained a master's degree from NYU, a BA from Middlebury College and an IB diploma from Mahindra United World College of India. She is also an artist and an activist.
