As Manager at African Food Changemakers, I leverage 20+ years of multidisciplinary experience to empower communities, foster sustainable growth, and improve food security systems across Africa. My expertise spans HR management, change engineering, and organizational development, with a proven track record of enhancing organizational efficiency and productivity, developing talent and fostering inclusive workplaces and driving social entrepreneurship and community engagement. I am a passionate advocate for social change dedicated to empowering women and youth through practical learning and economic opportunities. Through my work at African Food Changemakers, I dedicate my time to building stronger, more resilient communities and promoting sustainable agriculture and food systems I founded RubyCrest Services Ltd. - a personal services training and support company and co-founded Workplace Women, advocating for women's empowerment in the workplace. I am the author of "Sugar And Spice – The Making Of A Woman" and the community leader of the Sugar And Spice Network. As a wife, mother of three, and mentor to many, I prioritize family, community, and social responsibility. I am passionate about the concept of change and the positive transformation of people and communities. I am also passionate about helping women understand their role in building society and in helping youth get a clear vision of their future. I am passionate about Africa, her people, and our rich culture, which has food right at the centre of it. I have always been proud of my African heritage and strongly believe in the potential of Africa to impact the world. Food for me is God’s love made edible. Food not only embodies life as the link to the sustenance of life, but food is also art, food is pleasure, food is exciting.
