I am a proud graduate of Michigan State University from the Interior Design program. I have been a commercial interior designer for 36 years, working on projects in the healthcare, education, life sciences, and non-profit sectors. It has been extremely gratifying to be involved at the intersection of people and their environments, designing and creating spaces for the betterment of people I will never meet. Besides my work life culminating in leading an architectural firm with two partners, where I have worked for 28 years; I have been involved with several boards in the public library world, at Michigan State, and women's issues. My hobbies involve traveling the world, hearing live music especially alternative music from the 1980's, baking, reading, lecturing on leadership and design, and storytelling.

Designing environments that impact people and places for the better and knowing I will never meet them. Championing other people's bucket list items and staff professional aspirations.

All communities and people are entitled to well designed environments for healing and learning.
