I’m Sruthi Sundar, a B.Tech student in Computer Science and Business Systems. I believe that technology is not just about codes and screens, but about creating change that touches people’s lives. I’ve given a TEDx talk on How to Engineer Productive Boredom, sharing how even our quiet moments can spark creativity. I love and lead several teams in college competitions, building ideas with passion, and inspiring people around me. Aspiring to become a front-end developer and motivator, I dream of blending innovation with purpose and helping others see the power within themselves.

I’m passionate about using creativity and storytelling to inspire personal growth and leadership. For me, leadership is not about titles, but about the courage to take responsibility and the empathy to uplift others. I believe every event is a story in itself — a journey where ideas connect people, and people create change. Event management, to me, is more than organizing logistics; it’s about crafting experiences that leave lasting impact. I’m passionate about giving individuals a platform to share their unique voices, because every story has the power to ignite transformation. I want to encourage my community to embrace growth, lead with authenticity, and believe in the power of their own narrative. Through storytelling and meaningful connections, I believe we can build spaces that inspire, empower, and create real change

I believe innovation is not always about inventing something entirely new, it is about reimagining what already exists and giving it new meaning. We live in a world overflowing with knowledge, yet the real challenge is how we transform that knowledge into actions that inspire change. I see originality not as a ‘single spark’ but as a remix of ideas, perspectives, and experiences. Every small shift in mindset can lead to a big shift in reality. I want to spread the idea that creativity is within everyone’s reach, not limited to a chosen few. When we embrace consistency, courage, and compassion, we unlock a new kind of originality, one that is deeply human and truly transformative. This is the kind of future I want my community to believe in and build together.

My TED story began in my 1st year, when I had the joy of hosting a TEDx event. In my 2nd year, I stepped onto the red circle as a speaker, an experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me the power of sharing ideas. Now, in my 3rd year, I’m stepping into the role of an organizer, which feels both overwhelming and deeply rewarding. TEDx has been more than just an event for me, it’s been a place to grow, to connect with diverse minds, and to learn from inspiring individuals across industries. Every step has been a new chapter, and each role has shaped the way I see leadership, storytelling, and community.

People don’t know I’m good at turning simple ideas into engaging stories that connect with people. I love creating experiences, whether through events, conversations, or collaborations, that bring out the best in others. I have a knack for organizing and leading quietly from behind the scenes, while making sure every detail adds to the bigger picture. What I enjoy most is helping people feel heard, valued, and inspired, even in small everyday moments.
