Bio
Class of '78. Molfettase and, since 2015, also Milanese but without having lost the accent of the motherland which I show off with profound pride. A double life which, punctuated by an embarrassing amount of trains, I switch perpetually without particular psychophysical repercussions. Perhaps.
Always passionate about visual language, I work freelance as a graphic designer and illustrator with and for various companies and institutions scattered here and there throughout Italy (and beyond).
Since I was very young I have always had a particular feeling for pencils, in fact I started by scribbling on school desks (which I discovered was not allowed) so I necessarily had to turn to obvious and banal sheets of paper and then get to "spixellating" on modern digital devices.
Innate and sharp ironic streak that I have applied, with a pinch of creativity, to the world of caricatures and cartoons, making it a real job for many years now, boasting various important collaborations ranging from TV to social media, through publishing, l advertising and many other sectors.
Cartoonist since 2000, starting from a local magazine up to national newspapers and live caricaturist since 2009 with cross-media performances during live-social events in corporate, trade fair, television and institutional contexts.
In Milan to get to know new realities and deal with an area that is always stimulating both from a professional and personal growth point of view. My expectation was absolutely met!
I recently, albeit late, started to approach acrylic painting by starting a production of canvases with my illustrations and I must say that, compared to digital, they have a completely different charm!
In conclusion my motto is "I make faces".
