Educator/Teacher
Bio
I am a coach for a high school level speech and debate team, focusing on the speech side of the activity. With two years of participating in forensics, I started working with the team since I graduated high school in 2018. While coaching speech and debate is a great passion of mine, I am pursuing a bachelor degree in English in hopes of being able to teach at a high school level - and eventually move on to obtain a masters and a PhD. The dog set as my profile picture is in fact my dog - whom I love most.
I'm passionate about
I love my work. In fact, I think it could be said that I talk about my job a little too much. But I love and thoroughly enjoy the work I do: from doing research, to cutting and rewriting speeches, to seeing my students perform and perfect them throughout the year. I am also passionate about 19th and 20th century literature.

The TED story
I was introduced to TEDtalks when I was in 9th grade. Unfortunately, I don’t remember what that first video was about or who spoke in it, but I remember being captivated by it. So much so that when I went home I started listening to them on my own accord. As an adult, I find them just as fascinating and motivating - not to mention, inspiring. Often times, I find myself listening and browsing through videos as a means of brainstorming ideas for possible future topics/speeches for my students.
