About Cliodna
Bio
I'm Irish, educated in Dublin (UCD and DCU) and a post graducate year in the University of Pennsylvania. Worked in RTE, Irish national radio for many years, as a researcher, producer, and a news editor. I am an author, and now work in Adeje Town Hall in Tenerife as a press officer/radio producer and presenter/liaison between the council and foreign resident communities. There is still so much to be done to promote integration. I am single, delightfully so, and mother to a 19 year old. Recently awarded British Empire Medal for services to British nationals in Tenerife
An idea worth spreading
Singledom is a choice
Why being single is the Nº1 choice for so many people. There is nothing natural about being with one partner for life, it is a patriach-led idea that has kept women in the home for centuries.
