I'm from India. I am a Management student currently pursuing my PGDM in HR at ISME. I have completed my Bachelor's in Biotechnology. After doing thorough research, I pivoted my education towards Management in HR. I am empathetic, communicative and proactive. I'm always up for a conversation about topics that are new to me. Throughout my education, I have always shown keen interest in organizing events and extra co-cirricular activities, I believe this is where most of the learning comes from in addition to the academica. I describe myself as a back-stage person, I prefer to take care of everything in the organizing arena before the show starts. In addition to work in and organize events, I'm also the Alumni Committe Head of the Student Council at my institution. I believe in continous learning and upskilling. As a student and a fellow volunteer I'm thrilled about the people I'm going to meet throughout this journey and listen to all of their stories.

Ever since childhood, I have always been fascinated about science (not the subject per se) but the science behind everything. The way of phenomena functioning and the process of how something ended up being just that. I'm particularly passionate about the phenomenon of 'Evolution', not just in the context of life, but in every aspect. It could be as simple as the evolution of a pen or as pivotal as the evolution of Mangement. I'm always up for a conversation about how the course of a phenomenon or an object is changing.

As a person who has had a privilege of being brought up in a safe and enriching environment, I believe that I have the responsibility to amplify the voices of those who have not had it. This has brought me across the the concept or rather a way of being, called Intersectional Femisnism, where every voice matters regardless of their race, gender, sexuality, age or any other aspect that a human deems to be significant in their life. It emphasizes on the fact that people, especially the marginalized ones, the ones who are "deemed" unusual in the society have a story to share about their stuggles and the courage that they have showed just to be themselves. It challenges the mainstream, misguided idea of feminism that the activists are only listening out to one particular sector of the society. The idea of keeping feminism intersectional creates a platform that is big enough to amplify the experiences, struggles and revolutinizing ideas, especially from the opressed and the ones that are being biased against is something that is worth spreading to the audience and society.

I remember watching my first Ted talk by Lizzie Velasquez on "How do you define yourself". It made me think about how the organizers, the audience and the speakers are there to listen, share and express their genuine interest about topics and ideas that intrigue them. That is how I perceive Tedx, a platform that gathers people from different walks of life together for a common cause or an interest that they all share. As a member of this platform, I am content with the opportunities that I am getting here to learn about something new everytime and also because of the team that I am working with. I'm excited to see where this journey goes and the things that I am going to learn along the way.
