Bio
My name is Bobomurod, and I was born on October 13, 2009, in Uzbekistan. I currently live in Samarkand, a city rich in history and culture, where I am shaping my future with determination, ambition, and hard work. My journey has been filled with opportunities to grow, learn, and push my boundaries, both academically and personally.
One of the most significant transitions in my life was moving from Urgut to Samarkand and switching from a public school to a private one. It felt like stepping into a whole new world, and it challenged me to adapt quickly. At first, it was overwhelming, but this change taught me how to be resilient and embrace new opportunities. I became more extroverted, formed meaningful friendships, and found myself growing into someone I am proud of.
Academics have always been a top priority for me, and I am constantly striving to improve. I recently took the SAT and scored 1280, with 600 in English and 690 in Math. While I am proud of my efforts, I know I can do better. My goal is to achieve a 1550+ score by May 2025, with a perfect 800 in English. Alongside my SAT preparation, I am studying for the AP Calculus BC exam, which I plan to take in May as well. Since I don’t currently have a teacher for this subject, I rely on self-study to master the material.
In addition to academics, I am passionate about fitness and calisthenics. I work hard to maintain a strong and healthy physique, and I’ve achieved some impressive milestones, including mastering skills like the L-sit, frog-stand, muscle-up, handstand, and handstand push-ups. My workout routine is intense, and I recently completed 100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, 100 dips, 100 chin-ups, and 100 pull-ups in a single day. At 179 cm tall and weighing 63 kg, I take pride in my fitness journey and the discipline it has instilled in me.
Beyond academics and fitness, I enjoy pushing myself to grow as a person. My journey into extroversion was inspired by a close friend I met after moving to Samarkand. She encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, and as a result, I’ve built stronger connections with those around me. I also draw parallels between my life and the story of Miles Morales from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Like Miles, I’ve faced significant changes, such as moving schools and adjusting to new environments. My dad reminds me of Jefferson Davis in his supportive yet guiding role, and my history teacher feels like my own Aunt May with her wisdom and encouragement.
Currently, I’m also preparing for the FLEX program and have successfully made it to the third round. I hope to gain more international exposure and build connections with people from different cultures. Studying abroad has always been a dream of mine, and I am researching fully funded scholarships to make this dream a reality.
I know that achieving my goals requires hard work and focus, but sometimes staying motivated can be challenging. Recently, I’ve found myself spending too much time on social media, which makes me feel unproductive. However, I’m actively working on limiting distractions and maintaining a routine that aligns with my aspirations.
My life isn’t all about academics and fitness—I value balance and self-reflection too. While I don’t play sports like basketball or have a passion for cooking or drawing, I’ve found my own ways to channel creativity and energy through other pursuits, like making YouTube content. I believe that everyone has their own unique strengths, and I’m committed to building on mine to become the best version of myself.
In the future, I see myself studying at a top university abroad, excelling in academics, and continuing to inspire others to pursue their dreams. Life is a journey, and I am determined to make the most of it—learning from every experience, embracing every challenge, and celebrating every success along the way.
