Lawyer

I'm a litigation and commercial contracts attorney practicing in New York. My family roots are in South India, I was raised in Texas, and New York City has been my adopted home for nearly sixteen years. I'm perpetually curious about classical languages, rhetoric, epistemology, religion, and related topics. Outside of legal practice, I serve on the boards of the New York Asian Film Foundation and the Western Wind Vocal Ensemble. I also work with Akshaya Patra, an India-based non profit that partners with the state governments to deliver two million meals a day to schoolchildren in government schools all across India. Personally, I have been trying to get better than mediocre at yoga for decades. I have been doing the same with tai chi for about fifteen years. In my youth, I thought I would become a mathematician. A beautiful proof still makes me happy. My wife Emily and I are famously obsessed with our three-year-old dog, Tortellini. I remain loyally committed to the Oxford comma. I'm here to meet people and learn something new about being human.
