I am and have been a coach since 2003. My background is in HR and partly I still work in the area of career coaching for people who are challenged by a disability or illness. Also, I work with people who are searching for their true meaning in life.

Equality. Let us just accept each other for who we are! We are all human beings. Why do we always feel the need to label ourselves and each other. So what if you love a woman as a woman. So what if you like to wear a dress as a man. So what if you are Muslim or a Christian. Isn't it just possible to be human and not feel the need to label anyone? Okay, I get it we don't accept certain things because they are inhumain. Beyond that let's all live together human between humans.

One time, a few years ago, I was scrolling on LinkedIn. There was a post from one of my former PE teachers. He requested TED enthusiasts to join TEDxHarderwijk as volunteers. As one of the enthusiasts he was looking for, I immediately replied that I'd like to join. And so it happened! A few years later, in 2024, I took over the role as chairman of The Veluwse Rimpeling.
