Bio
I was born in 1981. in Novi Sad, Serbia. I have a BA in the English language and literature and an MA in English philology. I have been teaching English and the basics of translation in the Karlovci Grammar School since 2005. I’m interested in innovations in English language teaching such as using social networks, web 2.0 applications, TED talks and TED-Ed videos, all of which I use in my classroom on a regular basis. I'm also the TED-Ed Club Leader at my school.

The TED story
My TED story started in 2013. when I first watched Amanda Palmer's The Art of Asking. I fell in love with TED instantly. I felt compelled to show her TED talk to my students in class.They loved it. It's still my favourite TED talk. I've been using TED-Ed videos in my lessons for more than a year now and I was a co-organiser for two TEDx events (TEDxKarlovackaGimnazija) which took place in the grammar school where I teach.
