I'm passionate about

I am truly passionate about tennis, having participated in seven National championships and clinching two Bronze medals. Tennis, especially the Grand Slams and ATP tournaments, fuels my competitive spirit. Beyond the court, my love for literature spans all genres, and I find joy in the intricate worlds crafted by books. As a Numismatist and Philatelist, I delve into the historical significance of currency and stamps, appreciating the stories they tell. Ancient civilizations captivate me, with a particular fascination for the Indus Valley, Egyptians, and Mesopotamians. Their histories unfold like a gripping narrative. Being a melophile, I find solace and inspiration in music. And true to my name, Antariksh, meaning "Space" in Sanskrit, Astrophysics intrigues me. Exploring the mysteries of the cosmos aligns with my quest for understanding both the tangible and intangible aspects of life. My passions weave a rich tapestry, reflecting a curiosity that spans sports, literature, history, music, and the vast expanse of the universe.

An idea worth spreading

We usually seek for the sources of reference and inspiration from beyond our borders in today’s global world. Nevertheless, we too must look into our indigenous culture. This TEDx Talk on "Mahajanapadas:Cradle of Indian Civilization" aims at. The Mahajanapdas were a group of ancient republics which existed in India centuries before the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians came into their own. The early societies set the stage for the culturally diversified India that exists today. What makes this aspect important in today’s world? During a time of fast industrialization, urbanization, and economic boom, it is easy to get carried away by the pace and forget one’s roots. The restoration of the relationship with Mahajanapadas involves more than just the historical affair; it is a way to promote a sense of pride and identity for our society. TEDx Speech is a cultural self-interrogation appealing to our collective will to keep our distinctive cultural features in spite of changing world. It is a kind of reminder, however, of the fact that we have an impressive and powerful legacy upon which to draw as we aspire to make meaningful contributions to the world.
