Bio

Stacey A. Gibson loves when individuals and groups glow with success! She is a group dynamics strategist, writer, and educator whose facilitation and consultation focuses on 1) cultivating internal and collective trust in the professional workplace experience, 2) normalizing whole school wellness in times of crisis, 3) conducting strategic equity facilitation, 4) supporting women identified people in leadership roles, 5) co-designing change strategies to create efficient and equitable work and educational environments, and 6) writing and implementing equitable curricula. Her writing about pedagogical choices and decolonizing imaginations appeared in English Journal, ACSD Express, and Rethinking Ethnic Studies. Additionally, she co-authored a chapter on the complexities and riches of interracial friendships in 2018’s Uncommon Bonds and she has written professional development curriculum for two documentaries. Gibson, who has taught in both public and private sectors, created a series of practical frameworks and case studies entitled The Gibson Method: Intuitive Frameworks For Balanced Leadership which focuses on the intersection of personal equilibrium and collective equity in group dynamics. Her strategic facilitation stems from that pivotal work and helps teams move through stagnant systems of oppression by co-creating systems of generativity.
