Geoff Peate

Geoff has over 17 years of experience in international school settings. For Geoff, TED presents an exciting and effective global forum for people to learn about themselves and others. He is a proud member of the high school English Department at Asociacion Escuelas Lincoln, and feels very fortunate to have such wonderful students and colleagues. Most recently, he is excited about how the medium of literature can help motivate people to make positive change. Originally from Toronto, Geoff started his academic studies at Trent University, Ontario, and is now a current doctoral candidate (expected Fall 2016) in Educational Leadership at Plymouth State University, New Hampshire. When not studying or teaching, he considers himself a dedicated trumpet player.
