Bio

I am a Computer Engineering student at Pamukkale University with a deep passion for the intersection of technology, digital arts, and community building. My journey into community organization began during high school, where I co-authored the book "Nergisa ve Dolunay," co-founded the student community "CASVAL," and served as a core organizer for multiple TEDx events. These experiences taught me the transformative power of bringing diverse minds together. Alongside my academic focus on software development, I work as a freelance graphic designer, video editor, and animator. Recently, my team and I won a regional hackathon by developing "DİZİDİL," an interactive web application that teaches languages through video clips. Whether I am writing code, designing visual identities, or curating events, my ultimate goal is to create multidisciplinary platforms that inspire a genuine love of learning.

I'm passionate about

I am deeply passionate about the intersection of technology, digital design, and community building. As a computer engineering student who also works as a freelance graphic designer and video editor, I am fascinated by how we can combine technical infrastructure with visual storytelling. Whether I am co-founding a student community, developing an interactive educational app like "DİZİDİL" for a hackathon, or designing brand identities, my ultimate drive is to create multidisciplinary platforms that empower people and foster a genuine love of learning.

An idea worth spreading

Technology reaches its true potential not when it operates in isolation, but when it serves as a bridge for cultural preservation, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration." As an engineering student and digital artist, I believe that the most impactful innovations occur at the intersection of entirely different fields. Whether it is using software architecture to preserve local cultures or applying interactive design to solve societal challenges, we must dismantle traditional academic silos. By combining the analytical rigor of engineering with the empathy of the humanities and the creativity of digital arts, we can build solutions that are deeply rooted in human connection. My idea worth spreading is that the future belongs to those who can translate complex, isolated knowledge into accessible, community-driven realities.

The TED story

My TED story began during my high school years when I discovered the profound impact of "ideas worth spreading" at TEDxBelediyeFenLisesi Youth. This initial experience sparked a deep passion for community building, leading me to take on responsibilities at TEDxBeşkaza Meydanı Youth. Eager to expand my operational skills, I subsequently joined the core team of the standard TEDxAtapark event, managing marketing, digital communications, and visual design, and later contributed to TEDxAtapark Women. Progressing sequentially through these four diverse formats taught me the true intricacies of audience engagement and event logistics, ultimately inspiring my current mission to bring this multidisciplinary intellectual culture to my own university campus.

Things you might not know

Because people usually know me for my work in software development, digital design, and event organization, they don't often realize I have a completely different set of offline skills. I am actually quite good at playing table tennis, which keeps my reflexes sharp and helps me practice fast strategic thinking away from the screen. On the more creative and relaxing side, I am also skilled at playing the 17-key kalimba. Balancing the highly logical world of coding with the fast-paced physical energy of table tennis and the analog, soothing rhythm of a musical instrument helps me maintain a unique perspective on both problem-solving and everyday life.
